Fine Line Tattoos

You must be at least 18 to get a tattoo, even if you have a parent who will sign for you. We look forward to seeing you when you turn 18!

Yes! Before you book a tattoo, please send pictures of what you are wanting. This ensures we are able to provide the service you’re hoping for. We’ll send the final draft a few days before your scheduled appointment. We can make any changes necessary during this time. Please make all changes before your appointment. We do not schedule extra time for design edits during a tattoo session.

Tattoos are not safe for pregnant women. If you are breastfeeding please talk to your doctor first. We do accept breastfeeding women.

Yes! You can bring one or two support people. They are required to be supportive during the appointment. If they are acting negatively or being distracting, we will ask them to leave.

Sometimes! Generally, fine line tattoos don't work well for covering up other tattoos. However, if you have a tattoo you are wanting covered up, send a picture and we can see if we can work something out.

Yes! If you’d like to use numbing cream beforehand you are welcome to. Please send a picture of what brand of cream you will be using to your service provider before the appointment.

Make sure to stay hydrated leading up to your appointment. Use the bathroom before we start. Make sure to have a high protein meal beforehand. If you are getting a tattoo in an area that grows hair you can shave before coming in.

Tattoos generally heal within 1-2 weeks. Leave the wrap on your tattoo for three days after the appointment. Use warm water to help remove the wrap. Once the wrap is off, make sure you keep your fresh tattoo clean. Wash it twice a day with the cleanser provided or any other fragrance-free cleanser. We recommend having clean bed sheets and using the provided moisturizer.

Fine line tattoos are more likely to need a touch up, especially finger tattoos. This is not uncommon.

If you love your new tattoo you can absolutely tip. Tips are never expected, but very much appreciated.

Hollow Needle Piercings

Piercing with a hollow needle causes a lot less trauma because it actually moves the tissue aside to allow room for the jewelry to go in, whereas when being pierced with a gun, the gun just forces the earring through your ear to pierce it. A piercing gun also uses a butterfly back to hold the earring in that leaves no room for swelling. With hollow needles we use flat back earrings that are customized to the size of your ear.
It’s not recommended to get any piercings while pregnant because if you were to get any infections, it could get in your bloodstream and then to your baby. Getting a piercing while breastfeeding is totally fine though!
Yes we do!
For aftercare we will give you a detailed card with all the instructions of what to do and what not to do. After you get your piercing you should clean it 1-2x a day with a qtip using hypochlorous acid (which is available for purchase at the salon) or a sterile saline wound wash that can be found at the pharmacy area of any store! You’ll also want to schedule a post changeout appointment depending on which piercing you received. For cartilage you should schedule one 4-8 weeks after your appointment and for lobes 8-12 weeks. You should avoid touching/twisting and rotating your piercing. Avoid any lakes/hot tubs/ and pools for 30 days. Healing time depends on the location of the piercing. Any Cartilage piercings will take at least 6 months to be completely healed and lobes will take 12 weeks.
No, because that can cause more trauma to the piercing as hoops are easier to get bumped/tugged on. Your piercing is also more susceptible to getting infected if you were pierced with a hoop as well due to part of it being exposed and it can be transferred into the piercing channel. After your piercing is fully healed you can change it out to a hoop and we would be happy to help you with that!
We offer piercings on lobes, mid/upper/forward helix, tragus, conch, flat, and nostril!
For cartilage you are going to want to wait at least 6 months and for lobes you’ll want to wait at least 12 weeks.
The post you are pierced with initially is a little bit longer to allow for swelling. After your piercing is through the swelling phase it is important to get it changed to a shorter post to avoid any prolonged healing, angle changes, irritation, and piercing bumps.
No, because we sterilize every piece of jewelry that we pierce with and we wouldn’t be able to sterilize your jewelry. We do have lots of options to choose from though! Your jewelry also most likely isn’t compatible with what we use to pierce you! ⁃ What material do you pierce with? We pierce with 100% medical grade implant titanium jewelry! We can also pierce with 14k gold if requested.
Yes! We have options for jewelry that is included with your piercing, but we also have a variety of upgraded options as well.
You should clean your piercing with either hypochlorous acid that can be purchased at the salon, or a saline wound wash that can be purchased at any store in the pharmacy area. You don’t want to use any alcohol, peroxide, or Claire's piercing solution because they are going to be too harsh on your fresh piercings!
We typically only recommend a max of 4 piercings at once because that is a lot for your ears to handle! You can always come back for more! If you are getting cartilage piercings and are a side sleeper, we recommend you do one ear at a time unless you sleep on your back.
Hypochlorous acid is a solution that is actually naturally produced in our bodies by white blood cells in response to damaged tissue or infection. It is a great antibacterial that kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, but promotes the good bacteria to help with healing. It also helps coagulate blood. It is all around perfect for aftercare for piercings! You can get it at our salon for $10.
If it is actively bleeding you can use a q-tip to get that to stop and spray the hypochlorous acid solution on the piercing as it helps coagulate the blood!

Facials

We offer a consultation/mini facial. This is a great option so we can get a good look at your skin and create a custom skin care regime for you. Our MJ Original facial is also great for all skin types.

You can still get a facial if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, but there are certain products we will need to avoid during your facial. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding please tell us before your appointment. Even though it’s common to not tell anyone you’re pregnant during the early months, please tell us before your facial so we can make sure we’re using safe products.

One week prior, stop all intense at home skin care products such as retinol unless we direct you otherwise. Be sure to avoid the sun so you can avoid having a sunburn during your facial.

A few days prior, be sure to stay extra hydrated so your skin can fully absorb all the products. Make a list of any products you are currently using at home.

The day of, arrive in comfortable clothing with no makeup on.

Yes we can! We carry two high quality skin care lines. We are happy to help recommend the best products for your skin and give you detailed steps on how to use them.

Each service will vary depending on what facial you are getting. We recommend consulting with us before scheduling any appointment at the same time as your facial.

Microchanneling

Microchanneling is a noninvasive procedure designed to stimulate your body’s own natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, microchanneling can help your body start this process without penetrating into living tissue.

Microchanneling is a linear stamping method that creates uniformly distributed channels without causing skin tearing or dragging, leading to reduced discomfort. The treatment is quicker due to wider tips covering more surface area. Additionally, microchanneling typically involves minimal downtime. With microchanneling we also use a serum infused with human growth factors to aid in quicker results. In contrast, microneedling creates irregular and angled channels, making it a more abrasive procedure with downtime lasting between 5 to 7 days and depends on your body for the healing.

You can get microchanneling done every 4-6 weeks!

Results can visibly be seen after one treatment with microchanneling, but best results are going to be seen done in a series of about 4 treatments! If your skin conditions are more severe, it could take closer to 6 treatments!

There is very minimal downtime with microchanneling! You should avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours, but after that there are no restrictions!

With minimal physical discomfort, most clients are able to do the procedure without numbing cream and without any noticeable pain. There is no lingering discomfort, and we have a number of strategies we employ to minimize discomfort during treatment. Post-procedure, most people report a “tight” feeling in their skin.

We do have the option to add on numbing to your treatment if you’d like, but there is minimal discomfort associated with microchanneling!

Procell's Microchannel Delivery Serum contains bone marrow-derived growth factors in a hyaluronic acid suspension. Both of these elements are naturally-occurring in the human body. There are no human, animal, or plant cells, DNA, blood, or any other foreign substances. The product has been used safely and effectively for over a decade.

After you have microchanneling done you will not want to apply anything to your skin for 90 minutes, unless it was provided by your service provider. You will also not want to touch the treated areas with your hands, cellphone, or any other foreign objects for 90 minutes after your treatment is finished. As previously mentioned, you will want to avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours, but you will still want to apply/reapply spf 90 minutes after your treatment is finished. After you get microchanneling done, your service provider will provide you with an aftercare card and go over everything in depth with you!

Microchanneling treatments can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, stretch marks, and rosacea.

Microchanneling is not recommended when you are pregnant or breastfeeding. As soon as you are not pregnant or are done breastfeeding we will be more than happy to start your microchanneling journey!

BioRePeel

BioRePeel is a non-invasive chemical peel treatment that uses a combination of acids, enzymes, and other ingredients to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. It is designed to be gentler than traditional chemical peels and can be used on all skin types!

The BioRePeel can be done every 7-10 days.

While you may see minor results after just a couple of treatments, results are best seen in a series of 4-6 treatments! This is why we recommend purchasing our package deal when having the BioRePeel treatment done!

Yes! This is one of the major benefits of BioRePeel is that it is a chemical peel that is safe to have done year-round.

Unlike traditional chemical peels, there is no social downtime with this peel. You may experience very minor flaking, but you will not experience any major peeling compared to other chemical peels!

BioRePeel is different in that there is no downtime and it is safe to do year-round!

No, it is okay to be exposed to the sun after having a BioRePeel done. While it is safe to have it done year-round, it is still advised to apply/reapply SPF and keep your skin protected!

After getting a BioRePeel done, you will want to discontinue the use of any actives in skincare ingredients (Retinols, AHA’s/BHA’s, Benzoyl Peroxide, etc.) for 7 days. You will also want to avoid any chemical, physical, or manual exfoliants for 7 days. Avoid wearing makeup for 24-72 hours, avoid going to the gym or any physical activity for 24 hours, and avoid going swimming or getting into saunas for 7 days post-treatment. After you get a BioRePeel treatment done, your service provider will provide you with an aftercare card and go over everything in depth with you!

Before getting a BioRePeel done, it is important to discontinue the use of any actives in skincare ingredients (Retinols, AHA’s/BHA’s, Benzoyl Peroxide, etc.) for 7 days.

BioRePeel is going to help target any acne scarring (PIH), texture, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines/wrinkles!

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is not recommended to have a BioRePeel treatment done. We will be more than happy to do treatments on you when you are no longer pregnant or breastfeeding!

Microblading / Powder / Combo Brows

Microblading is performed using a small blade to create hair-like strokes over the full brow. It looks best when you have enough natural hair for the microblading to blend in with.

Powder brows (ombre) is a technique using a tattoo machine and needles to create soft pixelated brows. Powder brows are for a more “filled in” makeup look.

Combination brows combine both techniques. It’s a custom look specifically for your natural hair growth. Combo brows are by far our most popular service.

If you don’t know which brow type is for you, please book a free consultation and we’ll help you decide.

Not all permanent makeup is recommended while pregnant or breastfeeding. Extra hormones in your skin during this time can affect results.

Most clients only experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. Many compare it to the same pain level as tweezing their brows. Over the years, we have perfected the numbing technique to minimize pain as much as possible. We use a topical numbing cream for 20 minutes before starting and then continue to apply a secondary numbing liquid throughout the appointment.

Please avoid all blood thinners including caffeine and alcohol for 48 hours leading up to your PMU brow appointment. If you'd like to tint your brows before the appointment make sure to tell your service provider beforehand. Avoid intense skin care treatments like microneedling, chemical peels or retinol for two weeks before your appointment. No botox for two weeks beforehand. Avoid tanning beds and sun. Brows cannot be sunburned.

PMU brows typically heal within 7-10 days, but will vary by person. We’ll give you detailed aftercare instructions and a kit to take care of your brows after the appointment. During healing time (7-10 days) be sure to clean brows twice a day with the cleanser included in your kit. Use cold to lukewarm water, no hot water. Apply the included ointment three times per day. (A little goes a long way!) Avoid sweating, steam, saunas, swimming pools and sun during healing. Do not itch or pick at your healing brows.

Immediately after the appointment, your brows will be darker than what they will heal as. They will sometimes almost disappear and reappear within a few weeks.

If you love your new brows you can absolutely tip. Tips are never expected, but they are very much appreciated.

We recommend letting your brows grow out before your appointment. We love to work with your natural brow hair!

We recommend a 6-8 week touch-up. We call it “the perfecting session.” This appointment needs to be booked within 12 weeks of your initial appointment or it will be considered a yearly touch-up and you’ll be charged full price.

After the 6-8 week touch up, you’ll only need your brows touched up every 1-3 years. If you aren't sure if your brows are ready for a yearly touch-up you can schedule a free, in-person consultation or send a picture of your brows without makeup in good lighting.

Appointment time varies slightly from client to client. We schedule the first appointment for three hours to allow plenty of time to perfect your brows. We usually finish a little early. Please don’t schedule any urgent appointments afterwards. Touch-ups take about 1.5 hours.

Yes! If you’ve had your brows done before please tell us before we get started. Send pictures of your brows with good lighting and no makeup. Depending on how faded they are, you may need to do saline removal before getting new brows. If they are mostly or completely faded you can schedule an appointment as a first time client. All transfer clients must book a first appointment before they are allowed to schedule yearly touch-ups.

Lip Blushing

Over the years, we have perfected the numbing technique to minimize pain as much as possible. We use a topical numbing cream for 20 minutes before starting and then continue to apply a secondary numbing liquid throughout the appointment.

You can still get lip blushing done even if you have lip filler. Please check with your injector as well. Please allow at least four weeks after your last lip filler before getting lip blushing.

Please avoid all blood thinners, including caffeine and alcohol for 48 hours before your appointment. Drink lots of water. Moisturize! We want to avoid chapped lips if possible. Avoid any intense skin care treatments like microneedling, chemical peels or retinol for two weeks before your appointment. No lip filler for four weeks prior. Avoid tanning beds and sun before appointment. We don’t want any sunburns. If you get cold sores, please talk to your doctor about taking medications to prevent them.

Lip blushing typically heals within 7-10 days, but varies by person. After your appointment, we’ll cover aftercare and give you a kit to take care of your lips. During healing time (7-10 days) please apply kit cleanser twice a day. Use cold to lukewarm water, no hot water. Apply kit ointment three times per day. Avoid friction, spicy food, sweating, steam, saunas, swimming pools and sun during the healing process. Avoid scratching or picking itchy lips. Apply ice to lips after your procedure to help with swelling.

If you love the service you received you can absolutely tip. Tips are never expected, but very much appreciated.

Waxing

Your hair will need to be at least ¼ inch long or about the size of a rice grain. Everyone's hair will grow at different speeds, but generally you can go about four weeks in between wax appointments.

Make sure your hair is long enough. Exfoliate one or two days before your appointment. Do not trim your hair even if you think it's too long. Avoid caffeine before your appointment.

Your hair needs to be at least ¼ inch long, or about the length of a rice grain. Do not trim your hair if it's longer.

Every time you get your hair waxed it will grow thinner and thinner. Since your hair is removed from the root it takes a while to grow back before you can see it. The more consistent you are getting waxed the better the benefits will be. You can avoid getting razor burn and reduce ingrown hairs. Waxing is especially nice before vacations so you don't have to worry about shaving.

Lash Extensions

Classic lashes use a 1:1 ratio. One extension per each natural lash. Classic lash extensions also have the thickest diameter. Classic lashes provide a very natural look.

Hybrid lashes use a mix of classic and volume extensions. Hybrid lashes are still able to look very natural while providing extra fullness.

Volume lashes have a much thinner diameter than classic extensions. Because they have a thinner diameter we are able to put 5-7 extensions on each natural lash. The extensions are glued together at the base and fan out at the top. Volume lashes are great for people who like to wear makeup or who are used to wearing false lashes.

Possibly! We try our best to accommodate clients with all lash types, but you do need natural lashes for us to glue the extensions on to. If you have thin natural lashes please let us know before booking.

If you have had a reaction in the past please book a free patch test first.

Before your full set or fill make sure your lashes are squeaky clean. Please double cleanse them before your appointment. Cleansing your lashes prepares them so the new lashes stick better. Please don’t use face moisturizer before your appointment. This can cause the tape to slide off. It’s best to avoid caffeine before your lash appointment. You’ll be laying down with your eyes closed for a while and if your eyelids are twitching, the experience can be much less comfortable. You’re welcome to bring headphones too.

A full set of lash extensions usually takes two or three hours. Every eye is different. If you have more natural lashes, it usually takes a little longer than someone with fewer. Generally classic lashes are the fastest to apply and mega volume lashes take the longest. To help save time, make sure you arrive with clean lashes. Average fills are 1.5 hours. Please plan accordingly so you don't have to leave before your time is finished.

After your appointment, we’ll give you an aftercare card. Cleanse your lashes every day, especially if you’re wearing makeup. Once your extensions are dry, brush them with a spoolie. Try to avoid the lash line when wearing makeup. Extensions are not heatproof so be careful around hot ovens and campfires. Do not pick at your extensions.

It’s normal to lose a few lash extensions every day. So to keep them looking full, you’ll want to get them filled every 2-3 weeks.

Yes! If you are a transfer client please let us know before you book. We’ll ask you to send a picture of your lashes in good lighting. Depending on the quality of your current extensions you may need to book a removal or a full set. If we’re able to fill them without a removal there is no additional charge. Please reach out before booking.
