Our Story
From a single suite to a salon of our own, we’ve grown exponentially in the last five years, and we can’t wait to serve you!
In 2017, Megan had a job she hated, but a conversation with her lash artist led her down a path she could never have anticipated!
She took out her savings to get her education, quit her job and made the decision she would make this her business no matter what. In the last 5 years, she’s grown her clientele, gone back to school to grow her service offerings, opened a commercial storefront, and brought on some amazing employees!
MJ Artistry now offers 50+ services across 4 employees with diverse educational backgrounds and experiences. We look forward to servicing all of your beauty needs soon!
2017
The Beginning
Megan was doing lashes out of the spare bedroom of her apartment

Small Salon Suite
She received her education as an esthetician and began a small salon suite

Two-Woman Show
She brought on her first employee and the business quickly outgrew the single suite

Storefront Expansion!
The commercial storefront opened and she brought on more employees, services, and clients!

Chloe
Licensed Esthetician + Piercing Artist
Chloe is an esthetician who is super passionate about her job. On top of skin, lashes, and brows, she also does hollow needle piercings. She loves all aspects of the industry but is the most passionate about helping clients with acne/PIH as she herself has struggled a lot with this over the years.
Chloe is so excited to grow as an esthetician and get to know all of her lovely clients!

– Obsessed with Sodalicious
– Moved all around the U.S growing up but is definitely an Idaho girl
– Has never broken a bone
– Watching sunsets with her friends is her favorite pass time
– Huge fan of Grey’s Anatomy
– Loves anything flavored grape

Chelsea
Licensed Esthetician + Piercing Artist
Chelsea is originally from Southeast Idaho, and moved over to Boise when she got married in 2022 to the love of her life, Jonah. Chelsea has always had the love and passion for art, and absolutely LOVES doing tattoos! She loves being able to constantly use her creativity, continually improve, and experiment with her clients! It doesn’t feel like a job whatsoever!

-Got married at 19
-Football is a big part life outside the salon
-Loves everything health & wellness (draws the line at Dr. Pepper though)
-Loves asking questions and learning/meeting new people
-Shoe addiction
-Avid raw milk drinker
Megan
PMU artist + trainer
Megan went from doing eyelash extensions out of her apartment as a side hustle to building a six-figure beauty business in five years. She started taking clients out of her apartment as an 18-year-old and has grown the business rapidly each year. She now has multiple employees and a storefront location with three treatment rooms in Meridian, Idaho. She’s a licensed esthetician specializing in permanent makeup and fine line tattoos. She offers microblading, combo brows and lip blushing.

– Got married in April 2017
– Has two kids named Braxton and Brinlee
– Taught hip hop dance lessons for several years
– Loves spending time with friends
– Moved to New York the day of her 18th birthday
– Had a bearded dragon, salamander and leopard gecko growing up
– Had 5 knee surgeries!
– Loves to bake, especially bread
Jaycee
Licensed Esthetician + Piercing Artist
aycee has been a licensed esthetician since June of 2023. She has a passion for all things brows, piercings, lash lift + tints, and helping you achieve the skin of your dreams!
Jaycee loves enhancing your natural beauty and helping you feel your most confident self! She is so excited to continue to grow as an esthetician and provide only the best for her clients!

Chloe has been my go to girl for all of my beauty needs. She did my lashes for quite some time and always did an amazing job! After I started getting my lashes done I had her do my brows and a piercing. Chloe handled everything so well and was able to adapt to any changes that I needed!
