Megan Johnson is a licensed esthetician, fine line tattoo artist and the founder of MJ Artistry. What started in 2017 as a one-woman side hustle doing lashes out of her apartment has grown into a thriving beauty studio with a storefront and a team of talented women in Meridian, Idaho. Megan built MJ Artistry from the ground up—hiring her first employee in 2020 and continuing to expand with a focus on meaningful, detail-driven work. She now specializes exclusively in fine line tattoos and microblading brows, where she combines clean technique with personal connection.
Megan’s work is feminine, soft, and intentional—often inspired by nature, storytelling and the little things that mean the most. When she’s not designing tattoos or creating dreamy brows, you’ll find her reading, baking sourdough, or getting her hands dirty in the backyard garden. She’s also known for tackling DIY projects around the house, grilling up a good meal, with a cold Dr Pepper in hand. With two kids and big dreams ahead, Megan continues to grow her business while staying rooted in what matters most.
